For about a decade, thanks to exclusive permissions, I have had the rare opportunity to explore places inaccessible to the public. These preserved spaces house unique mechanical treasures—iconic pieces that tell stories and bear witness to human genius.
My creative approach, as both an explorer and storyteller, seeks to reveal the soul of these exceptional pieces and to share their beauty and legacy through a project I have named Cite Mecanique.
More than just a photographic project, it is an artistic vision that transforms mechanics into a universe of poetry. Each machine—whether a classic car, an iconic aircraft, or an industrial tool—comes to life as an inhabitant of an imaginary city, dedicated to human ingenuity, innovation, and design.
In my Cite Mecanique, every photograph tells a story. The lines, technical details, and marks left by time become fragments of a greater narrative—the story of the men and women who dreamed, designed, and shaped these machines.
