Émergence du noir a la lumière

Pour moi, le noir est bien plus qu'une simple absence de lumière : il devient ma signature, un outil pour construire l'atmosphère, à l’image d’un directeur de la photographie sur un plateau de cinéma.

Ce noir, aussi profond que celui qui envahit une scène de théâtre avant le lever du rideau, offre à l’objet la possibilité de surgir de l'ombre, comme un personnage qui émerge devant son public.

Emergence from Darkness to Light

For me, black is far more than a mere absence of light: it becomes my signature, a tool to construct atmosphere, much like a cinematographer on a film set.
This black, as profound as the darkness that engulfs a theater stage before the curtain rises, allows the subject to emerge from the shadows, like a character stepping into the spotlight before their audience.
